How does the Mentorship@Flex program work?
To drive learning, cross-functional collaboration, and nurture career development opportunities, we launched the Mentoring@Flex program in 2021.
It is a global program that connects people at all levels to exchange knowledge, share expertise, and learn from each other. Through meaningful human connection, we’re enabling real-world “know-how” to be shared across industries, functions, and regions in the organization.
Mentoring@Flex is facilitated via a mentoring tool that intelligently matches mentors and mentees based on their skills, goals, and level of experience. Once the connection has been made, the mentor and mentee meet regularly to discuss mentee’s goals defined at the start of the process, which can include developing leadership skills, growing business acumen, and building professional network. A mentor provides actionable guidance and advice for the mentee.
When we launched “Mentoring@Flex” in January 2021, the world was still grappling with COVID. We wanted to create a program to help people connect in a meaningful way, bringing together experts from different fields and locations. Our aim was to provide a space where everyone could get advice, gain a new fresh perspective, and find new solutions by talking to someone who understands their challenges. We all have moments in our careers when we need a little support to help us move forward—whether that’s in our work or personal lives.
Now, four years later, Mentoring@Flex continues to be a place where people learn from each other, grow their skills, and build valuable meaningful relationships. We’re proud of what we’ve built together, and we’re excited to keep this experience going!

Benefits of Mentoring@Flex
The wide range of benefits for participants is reflected in the program’s results. Since the program’s launch, 22 percent of mentees who participated in the program have been promoted as of 2024. In addition, 50 mentors have completed five or more mentoring connections, showcasing a commitment to shaping the development of Flex talent throughout the years.
The program helps both mentors and mentees further develop their leadership skills, preparing them for future roles, in addition to other professional development benefits.
